Until recently, the 221 series connection terminals were used to connect single-wire and multi-wire conductors with a cross section of 0.2 to 4 mm2, as well as fine wire conductors of cross-section from 0.14 to 4 mm2. Electricians simply need to open the terminal by lifting the lever of the traditionally orange color, insert the stripped conductor to the stop and lower the lever down. Transparent housing allows you to monitor the correct connection.

However, for electrical installation works it is often not enough to use conductors of cross-section up to 4 mm2. This concerns, first of all, the connection of powerful stationary devices and the connection of large cross-sections, for example, in order to reduce the voltage drops when using long wires. For such cases, WAGO has released a new terminal model that will ensure the reliability of operation, comfort and speed of connecting more conductors and allow the use of terminals in working with more powerful equipment.

With the advent of the new model, there is now the possibility of wiring three-phase sockets, connecting air conditioners and high-power devices.
